The deadline for free entry to the Chicago International Virtuoso Music Competition 2025 is May 15th, 2025. Participants are required to submit video recordings of their performances (YouTube or Bilibili link) on our page titled "Free Entry".

The video recordings on the video link must be made no later than 18 months preceding the date of entry. Total length of video clips: the program of choice, with a continuous performance.

The video recording, which must include both audio and visual elements (audio-only submissions are not admissible), must be the exclusive performance of the applicant. Multiple cameras may be utilized for video recording; however, no artificial sound effects shall be added to any part of the video entry. An introductory title stating the musician's name, the title of the piece, and the composer is acceptable. Musicians have the option to have an accompaniment for their entries if they desire. Contestants who progress to the final round have the prerogative to either use the same video submitted in the preliminary round or substitute it with a different one.

Only those individuals selected during the qualifying round (initial screening) are eligible to proceed to the final round.

2025芝加哥国际杰出音乐人才大赛免费参赛的截止日期为2025年5月15日。参赛者需在我们名为“免费参赛”的页面上提交其表演的录像（YouTube或bilibili链接）。

参赛视频的录像录制时间不得晚于参赛日期前18个月。视频片段总时长：所选曲目为连续表演，具体时长请参考“类别分组及要求。

录像必须包含音频和视频元素（仅音频的提交不予接受），且必须是参赛选手的独家表演。录像时可使用多个摄像机；然而，视频参赛作品的任何部分均不得添加人工音效，可包含音乐家姓名、作品名称和作曲家的介绍性标题。晋级决赛的选手有权选择使用初赛时提交的相同视频，也可以用不同的视频替代。

只有在资格赛（初步筛选）中被选中的选手才有资格进入决赛。

• Notification Method: Qualifying contestants will receive an email notification or invitation that contains guidelines for the final round.
• Fee Payment: A $110 Administrative Processing Fee is required, and please note that this fee is non-refundable.
  

Submissions must be made in strict accordance with the competition schedule. For details, please refer to the "Competition Schedule" section.

If minors participate in the competition, their parents must consent to the use of the minors' names on the official website and social media.
